Astrology and the Humanities

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard ; yet their voice goes out throughout all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.  In them he has set a tent for the sun. (Psalms 19:1-4 KJV)

Astrology is a great tool for studying the Humanities--the history, philosophy, and literature of mankind.  In fact, star study may be mankind's earliest thought tool for making sense of the mystery of existence.  From our humblest beginnings as wanderers of the earth to our first ambitions of mastering nature, humanity has looked to the heavens for guidance and order.  From writing in stone texts to the world wide web's wide flung disseminations, the discoveries of heaven's relation to earth has been one of the hottest topics of human discourse.  We find astrology in ancient Urarut, Babylon, Egypt, Rome, Greece, India, China and Mesoamerica, in Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western cultures, past and present. And as human understanding has developed and matured through the millennium, astrology too, has continued adapting new insights and broadened perspectives at every turn.  Thus, our cultural legacy of astrological writings provides an unbroken trail of Humanities content through the ages, reflecting discourse along the boundary where the physical world meets the metaphysical world thoughout our journey through the history of ideas.

Welcome to this evolving compilation of samplings of astrological artifacts of the epic quest to understand where we live in time, space and being. In Aquarian 21st century style, this information is presented as a web tour. The websites listed here are references on topics regarding the Humanities and Astrology.  They range from ancient history and scientific inquiry into the mystery of the here and now, to the harmonics and esthetics of artistic appreciation.  The links cited here lead off of this website to other people's so you will need to use your browser's BACK button to come back to the Claralucia Astrology Studio.  We are not affiliated with any of the linked websites nor are there endorsements either way.  But we do highly commend and recommend these sites for their interesting ideas and insights!.
